It’s been a while! And since then there’s been some changes to my game, both from EAxis and on the WickedWhims sides of things. EAxis just added a major patch to the game - and holy crap did a lot of romantic relationships take a HIT. yes that is Queen Beryl and Dahlia Gillespie Which means it’s now officially anybody’s game when it comes to wooing the Landlady.

EAxis has added to the game:

Freelancer career - so LL can earn the muns writing if I decide she needs to.

11 pieces of decor and furniture related to writing, as well as a new laptop

Random clothing items, enough to make a full outfit both male and female

Freezer bunny hoodie to match the Moscino collection (I am indifferent to this)

A honk of bug and glitch fixes.

WickedWhims has added:

Personality archetypes. Wooing other sims and making friends is not going to be so easy, and some of these traits are incompatible with each other! Sims will develop two at slightly random and based on what they’ve done/what personality traits they already have.

Social boredom - Sims will remember what you’ve said for longer, so it’s much harder to keep the conversation going without variation.

As y’all can see, the friendships are about the same as when we left off, but the romantic . . are pretty much all on an even pace now. Sure, some have romance bars, some don’t - but a single date can change that a LOT. I’ll be making a post with updates on personality spreads for the guys to give an example of what these Archetypes mean.

Blue is apparently a horrid gossip, and Stretch is just as happy to indulge. You’ve existed for five seconds?? What’s there to gossip about??

I do miss having a height difference. It just feels kinda weird having Blue and Stretch at the same height. Oh well!

Stretch:

He’s a Libra! Which is very much not a surprise!

His primary Aspiration is Knowledge (nerd), with a secondary of Family.

And a Lifetime Want of . . . becoming a City Planner. He wants to hit the top of the Architect career. Unexpected!

Blue:

Scorpio is not a surprise - at this point I’ll be more surprised if one of the pairs of bros isn’t this particular zodiac combo.

Primary Aspiration of popularity, and a secondary of Family. 

So, the rest of the day off before the final outing of this round. Kinda just puttering, having fun, discovering coffee makes Red hyper and prone to doing sit-ups on the spot.

Also these yutzes are more prone to eating in the game room than the dining room, which kinda irks me. I made that room for a reason darnit!

Here’s the second floor!

This is the landing/nook directly across from the stairs. As you can see it’s set up for comfy reading and low-grade chess competitions! The colors are a bit random, but it kinda just works.

This probably annoys someone’s interior designer.

Turning around, you can see the Trophy Case Nook! It’s a little, oddly-shaped recessed area you can see from the stairs and from it see down the stairs.  This seemed a good way to use it for the random crap these guys are going to find/collect. 

Shiny rocks appeal to many, and if they ever go back to Salvadorado, they’ll get artifacts to display!

Blue’s room was so much fun to design! And the first time to really get some use out of that galaxy wallpaper I downloaded. The little things on the floor will glow faintly at night, as will the stars on the walls.

 He’s got a piano just because it seemed like something he’d enjoy futzing with. If it turns out another Skele is more musically inclined, it’ll wander off to their room.

Stretch’s room is noted to be notoriously messy. So plenty of crap just lying around!  Also plenty of signs of neglect of the overall space.

No one can explain why the walls in his room look so much WORSE than anybody else’s room.

Red’s room. Simple, kinda sparse, done in the traditional Underfell colors. I was tempted to add a poster of a cute girl to his walls, but decided not to for now.

He does have his own bookcase, and squishy chair for casual reading.

Edge’s room is dominantly black. I took his tastes as sparse, elegant lines with minimal frills.  While Red’s is a red room with black accents, Edge has black as the main color with red accents. Sort of an ultramodern take.

The handprints are from when the rooms were being painted. It was meant as a prank, but Edge actually kinda liked the effect and let it stay.

The painting over his bed is for looking at when he wants to relax and sleep. Sort of a follow-the-curve thing. Only Edge knows if it actually works for him.

Hooray! All decorated and ready to use, and so we’re going to have a quick house tour because I’m damned proud of this building!

Starting with the first floor - and a nice overview of it!

Then a view of the side yard. There’s plenty of garden plots for the eventual crops Blue and Papyrus are likely to plant (and possibly other house members will pitch in with off and on), to have fresh herbs, fruits, and vegetables. It’ll be fun to test out the more in-depth farming system with them!

That big thing in the front of the screenshot is a rotating climbing wall, which I figured would be a GREAT way for Blue, Papyrus, Black, and Edge to work out. Sure, they could just go jogging . . but the higher levels of the Top Hitz Climbing Wall involve fire. Definitely a worthy challenge!

The little teal box near the planter beds is a bee box! There’s going to be fresh honey for the household, and Stretch had better be prepared to be the primary beekeeper if he wants to benefit from this.

Then there’s the front porch, the barbecue, and Sans’ gnome collection. They’re tucked under the planter boxes because I’m sure Edge and possibly Papyrus would do something to them if he noticed them regularly. I added a nice bench for sitting on, one that has outdoor fabric on the pillows. Should be nice and comfy and perfect for napping.

(What Sans doesn’t know is that in this world, Gnomes roam)

This closet is to the left of the inside of the main door. It’s not entirely functional for sims, but it’s a nice storage spot for the holiday decorations and the household coats.

Very soon there will be Christmas lights all over.

From the living room, you can see the front door and the mix of decorative baskets and shelves on the wall opposite the front door. It’s a simple area, but leads nicely into the living room and the stairs that go up to the next floor.

Yeah, that’s a bunch of old signs and paintings under the stairs as well as other clutter. The guys didn’t know where to put all that stuff, and weren’t ready to just chuck it. At least there it’s out of the way.

That white thing next to the front door is a leash rack. Black and Edge are nowhere as subtle as they think they are sometimes.

Great big fish tank! I can easily see the mellow skeles taking some fishing trips as a way to unwind. Might as well give them a way to show off their catches.

The living room is pretty simple - easy for lounging in and watching the TV (which is a very high quality one). I probably could have shoved another couch in there, but this arrangement works and at most I might add another coffee table for putting mail on.

The kitchen was so much fun to design! A family lodge needs lots of counter space, and this seemed a really nice way to do it! This layout even allows for a coffee/tea station without interfering much with the flow of the room. The colors may not be what was in mind . . but the tile just looked so nice in the space and I took the colors in it and ran with the design.

I included a microwave for the lazybones to be able to nuke chikkin nuggets.

The dining room! A nice room, if a bit mis-matched furniture wise. You can also see the coffee/tea station on the counter to the right of the doorway.

Figured Papyrus or Blue - or both! - made an effort to co-ordinate the furniture a little by painting all the chairs white. It looks nice, I think!

The gaming room sees a lot of use, and with Blue on patrol, stays relatively clean.  There’s still that pile of hoodies/shirts/socks that manages to stay despite his efforts tho.

The thing in the lower right is a Foosball table. Might be a nice way for the more energetic skeles to burn off some steam.

There’s no carpeting/rugs in here to make it easier to vacuum.
