Wishful thinking is the only thing honest about Karmor. Is the Crow just saying that or was Karmor a frequent liar. Maybe he put up some kind of act?

"No matter power you have you will never destroy me"

"If I had my way I'd kill you right now"

"Maybe I'll finally get lucky this time"

Theory Town:

From this all I think the relationship between the Mad Crow and Karmor was never good to begin with (why tho?). It seems their relationship was always somewhat rocky but it got to a grace period at one point for some reason (higher ups maybe?). I think they fought a couple of times before (at least two but that's rocky) but the last time is really when they tried to kill each other. It failed of course but it seems like it was because of intervention by someone leaning towards Crows side or a hidden power that Crow had. That power or someone powerful is the thing keeping Crow in check. As much as I think that Crow is doing this for the love of the game, I also think that he would have just up and killed Karmor by now if something or someone wasn't stopping him. Something has to be enforcing the rules. Otherwise, the game wouldn't have gone on this long

Mad Crow taking away Karmor speech is a way to isolate him and keep him from telling people what he knows (it also signifies that Karmor was very mouthy and probably often defiant)

Mahatma/Attilla || 13:12-20:40

Karmor freaks the fuck out at the sight of a syringe. The experimented out Theory is kinda held up by this scene but I'd also like to put out that maybe Karmor was frequently drugged/sedated by a captor of some sort. Experimentation doesn't have to be the only reason (then again, it is the most likely)

"You're never leaving" This is said by Attilla and reminds Karmor of Mad Crow. This could be a few things. Maybe Mad Crow was Karmor's captor or maybe he was in charge of keeping Karmor in a certain place and/or docile. It could also be him saying that Karmor would never leave the trial.

“Immediate evaluation”

Finally finished. The illustration contains what I think happened during their time in L.A.I. The side with the mad crow symbolizes his insanity and the music notes are based on what you can hear with the little flashback (notes are accurate I just searched up musical notes) Karmor’s side with terror and the fact of his fear with needles and being trapped.

Analysis:

The comic is based on what happened when Karmor spaced out in the museum. When the mad crow was saying random words, I had no idea what they meant at first. However, as more episodes were released and I rewatched them, I began to think of something interesting. Maybe both the mad crow and Karmor are being tested in some way.

Karmor seems to be involved because, when the crow speaks, certain words are shown on the screen for a split second, but Karmor doesn’t vocalize them. This test might require them to describe a picture they see, which could explain why Karmor’s and the crow’s words sometimes align. When I discussed this theory with my sibling, they added that perhaps the test is meant to evaluate how they each describe things. Karmor uses simple, straightforward words, while the crow employs more complex vocabulary(evocative person?)

Albus w/Hipswitch || 2:00-2:25

“What are you doing here? You said you were going to walk” -A

“I never said that” -H

Hipswitch clearly said in the last episode that he was going by transport and didn’t mention walking at all. So this is our first real glimpse at Karmor’s powers erasing the memories of the people who aren’t involved.

Jess Prodman || 40:35-55:40

“They were here I know they were” - Jess

He’s referring to the transport but if I remember correctly, he’s not supposed to. Why does he remember, in fact, why is he the only one who is able to figure Kamor out later on?

“Got nothing to say now, did I kick the voice out of you” -J

I CAN’T SPEAK BRO-

“It was you. You did this. You rewrote it or something. That’s how you got off the transport and the mines, I didn’t even remember making those EMPS. It just came to me that I had them out of nowhere”

“You erased your bounty, right? Was that the reason I blew up the transport to start with?”

Why does he remember these things? Sure the mines make sense but the transport and the bounty don’t. Is it because Mad Crow allowed it or is it because he’s just really intelligent? Maybe I’m missing something but I've watched this ep like 3 times at this point so it’s just gonna be missed.

Also quick question what was the consequence of saving Hipswitch?

Hipswitch/Jess || 1:03:09-end

I’m not going to type this whole part out but there’s a lot going on here.

One, Jess and Hipswtich have major history

Two, when Jess tells Hipswitch what he knows or at least tries the static of mad crow shows up and he seems to go somewhat crazy, unable to fully get it out

Three, the static doesn’t go away until jess is dead, maybe that signals a type of control

And Four, Jess mentions the birds watching and testing them like he can feel the mad crow's presence

I have no theories for this episode but it does set up a lot of questions. Like who else can feel the presence of Mad Crow?
