This particular story takes place in the "Public High School of Springrock", a place with a...weird reputation, but very great results(weirdly enough).

It's home to various types of students from different backgrounds, attempting to nurture the young mind into brilliant and hopefully successful adults, but it's mostly known as an easy pit stop to let your unwanted child spend their time while their parents go out and enjoy their "alone time".

But not to worry! It's staff are just as diverse as it's students! Some rumours circle around the many shady stuff the school has been prone to doing in the past just to stay in high grades in other ppls eyes...

...however with the arrival of the newest headmaster things have started to fall into it's according place. Hopefully for the best!

Let's meet the main gang!

HIPSWITCH

Role: Hall Monitor

• Chilliest guy on the school;

• Follows the rules to a T, but still gives free passes to students who owned up to his graces;

• Looks intimidating, is actually a softie;

• Best friends with Mahatma, and gets along with most if not all of the teachers;

• Before the new headmaster took over, he was allowed to come with his usual cowboy fashion that'd leave the students jealous! But now he's forced to wear these tacky "uniforms" to stay in business — he wouldn't mind as much if they weren't so uncomfortable...

• Lost friendship with Lady Zariya, the counselor. And pretty much with the rest of the upper staff of the school, but specifically her;

• Favorite student is Karmor. Kind of paternal towards him since the little man has been around since forever.

MAHATMA

Role: Social Studies Teacher & Educational Psychologist

• The kindest teacher in the school. Everybody likes him!

• Was once a psychologist until he lost his license because of an "incident" he refuses to elaborate. Was accepted into the school by Fisher, former headmaster of PHSS, as an educational psychologist but then had to gradually fill the shoes as Social Studies teacher because of the lack of teacher experts in the area;

• Still does EP during his free times, and often encourages students to seek him for help if their having trouble. Frequent patient is Karmor;

• Always attempts to help students who are close to failing his class(he knows it ain't an easy subject);

• Was nicknamed "The Good Teacher" and "Dr.Jekyll" by the students because of his twin brother, Attila, who's the complete opposite of him;

• Very close friends with Albus, and often times attempts to talk more personal talk with him. It works! Sometimes...

• Attempted to find better opportunities in other schools, or maybe get his license approved once again, but because of his love towards his students, as well as wanting to find out more about Karmor, he placed those plans on hold for now.

ATTILA

Role: Chemistry Teacher

• MEANEST teacher in PHSS. Everybody hates him;

• The younger twin and latest addition to the staff. Actually very good at teaching, his attitude just doesn't spark the students as much as Mahatma's;

• Gossip buddies with Albus;

• Because of his attitude, he's the prime target for pranks and misdeeds of the students. They have a lot of fun watching his enraged reactions to the pranks! One time, he accidentally sent Karmor to detention for one of the pranks since he too didn't like him very much, it...didn't go so well for the boy back at home. Attila got the lashing of his life from Mahatma the next day;

• Actually the biggest rate of passes in the school! That's why he stays lmao;

• Even though the students don't like him, they openly admit that Attila knows how to make an interesting and entertaining lesson. And about chemistry, no less!

• Has personal beef with the rest of the staff members, only tolerating the ones closer to Mahatma(like Albus and Hipswitch);

• NOT merciful on the grading, unlike Mahatma. But after a certain rumour sparked on the school revolving Karmor, he started to be a tad bit more considerate with the students;

• He's a monster, but not heartless;

• Also received the nickname "The Snake" because of his eyes, and "Mr.Hyde" to complement his brother's nickname.

ALBUS

Role: Gym Teacher/Coach

• Chill teacher as well, sometimes demanding(it depends on the student);

• Became a teacher because of Faith and her role as caretaker of a local orphanage not very far from PHSS, she thought the role would suit him best! He'll admit it's not much his speed, but it ain't so bad;

• Ends up being one of the teachers that most look out for the students, and by default ends up helping Mahatma with taking care of the little demons;

• If there's a fight, he sits down and places bets on which kid wins. He doesn't help, "let them blow off some steam" as he says;

• Karmor is the most difficult student in his classes. Always has to encourage the kid to do practice instead of sitting about and doing nothing — he doesn't listen -w-)

• Gets along well with the staff, but stays close to Mahatma, Attila and Hipswitch the most;

• VERY against the new headmaster's rules, thinks they're bat shit unethical and "New Tennesse level" of ridiculous. In fact, he's very wary of the bastard, doesn't trust the guy one bit.

KARMOR

Role: High School Student...and teacher's pet

• The weird kid, and only full-blooded human of the school. He's getting the Kris Deltarune™ treatment this time;

• He's 16 years old here. Has been attending this school since he was 12, so he knows most of the staff by heart;

• Much closer to the teachers than the students, and often a big target for teasing and picking on, but never escalating to bullying because of his relation to the staff. Mahatma often tries to encourage him to socialize, but he never manages to;

• Selective mute. Wasn't always like this, but something in his life that changed drastically for him to "suddenly become mute";

• Has spoken a few words towards Mahatma once! He was very very happy to see how close they've become for Karmor to be comfortable enough to speak;

• Straight A's student. Or at least, attempts to be. Not getting good grades and good performance in the classes results in not so nice punishments at his home;

• Hates the new headmaster;

• Nobody really knows much about him, and neither does he sometimes.

I think imma write a bit more on this AU...it's super cool to think about these scenarios! And also imma try to implement the rules into this world and see how that turns out ;3
