It's almost my birthday, so giving my oral history made me feel extra reflective! I'm thinking about how important queer community has been in the development of both my art and my identity. I loved sharing stories about community times like Queer House Field Day and the very first Pop Up Museum of Queer History when after the cops left we ate a gingerbread model of the Stonewall Riots.
