Anonymous asked: What do the other ragdolls look like?

“Ah yes, the children. Mind you, they are named after the things they have a  particular interest in and collect.

There are the card-ruplets: Hearts, Diamond, Spade, and Club. They only ever play fight, but are nonetheless skilled with their respective weapon.  I just wish they wouldn’t insist on wearing their card costumes outside the grotto. They get very dirty, and then refuse to let me clean them.

Next are the ‘oddities’ : Fable, Dream, Oleander, poison Oak and poison Ivy. They are…well, it can be difficult trying to find things for them. Fable insists on only fairytale-esque books. Oleander, Oak, and Ivy are only interested in plants there are in someway dangerous to organic life. Thank goodness we aren’t affected by the plant toxins, but i always have to keep in mind that most guests are not immune. And then there’s Dream and well.. Sometimes i let them ask guests about the dreams they have. If its not too much of a bother.

Then there’s the ‘knick-knacks’ : Pearl, Bell, Marble, Dice, and Jack. Definitely are the more curious of the bunch. They most often are the ones going outside, and the ones i have to keep an extra eye on.  Pearl and Bell are exceptionally sweet, where as Marble and Dice will try to con you if you play with them. However, most of what they con out of  people, if its not useful to them or interesting, they give it to Jack. He does collect jacks, but also has a tendency to take things from the others. A skill they learned from their father.

Finally: the chess set : King, Queen, Bishop, Knight, Rook, and Pawn. King has a tendency to start fights, but is a darling.  Queen is the tallest at about 3′11′’ and is very reserved. Bishop likes to read about the outside’s world’s religions, and is interested in how it seems to affect the humans. Knight is, like the card-ruplets, a fighter. Though they prefer to use their fists and or their trusty stead. As a mallet. And lastly, Rook and Pawn. Those two inseparable, not like Oak and Ivy, but they just don’t like being apart. They both become greatly anxious without each other.
