Bittybones Chapter 6: Adding to the Bitty Brigade (Buttons 3)
I decided to leave Brass Bean at home, so I gave him a tray of shiny embroidery beads to play with. He loves shiny things, but he tries to pretend he’s less greedy and needy than Red about gifts. He is not. They brawled over some pretty beach pebbles just last week, and I’m pretty sure Brassy’s haul got looted by my little kleptomaniac. Just in case, I slipped a few extra translucent amber stones into his room.
There was no chance of leaving Red at home, however; he hadn’t seen Gigi, the shop owner, since I’d adopted him. I suspected his motivation might’ve also had something to do with showing the bittys at the shop that he’d successfully managed to “train” an owner to accept him.
(you would not be entirely wrong)
I also suspected he wanted to meet the new bitty first to keep the little guy from immediately gravitating to Brassy.
(also not wrong)
I desperately hoped that my two troublesome boys would not be a bad influence on this new bitty.
A heavy silence greeted us as we entered the shop; Gigi looked up from where she hunched over the counter. Recognition wiped the harried expression from her face, replacing it with one of relief. She waved us over to where she stood with two bittybones in front of her- one very small, the other sporting an elegant pair of wings. As I got closer to them I heard frightened whimpers and soothing murmurs from the bittys.
“I’m so glad you could make it,” Gigi greeted me. “And you brought Red! Hey there, pumpkin.” She extended her hand to Red, who affectionately rubbed his cheek against her finger before letting her pick him up and set him on the counter with the other two bittys. Meanwhile, I’d leaned down to peer at them.
The winged bitty was the larger of the two; he had iridescent feathers, black shot through with brilliant blue. His tail twitched, and his hands were placed on the other bitty’s cheeks, eyes scrunched in concentration. The smaller bitty appeared to be young. His sockets were opened wide in pain with tears gathered at the corners. His eyelights resembled blue buttons, so I guessed he must be the rescue bitty. A blue glow surrounded the small bitty; the winged bitty seemed to be healing him.
“The little rescue Blank is called Buttons,” Gigi explained as Red walked across the counter to meet the strangers. “The winged bittybones is a new type called a Kara bitty. Buttons is still recovering from having the buttons sewn into his eyes removed, so Kara is healing him.”
“Hey there, Buttons,” Red greeted the small bitty, who was at least half an inch or more shorter than him. Buttons stared at him with his wide blue eyes; he began to tremble.
“Y-you’re not a c-carnivorous b-bitty, are you?” I suppose, coming from his situation, it was a valid question; Red did have sharp teeth. I had a feeling that he would be terrified of Brassy if he saw Brassy eating.
“Nah, I’m not a meat-eater, but I am a-” I quickly put my finger over Red’s mouth to shush him, and he bit me for my troubles. No way would I allow him to say “vag-itarian” in front of Buttons! He bit me again.
(i will not be silenced!)
“Red... Buttons is only 10!” I’d done my research before leaving the house this morning. The Buttonberry bittybones (and by association their Blank counterparts) were all children. It made the trauma they’d gone through that much worse.
“Oh...”

Bittybones Chapter 6: Adding to the Bitty Brigade (Buttons 2)

Stitch it up
Buttons. There not that scary. In fact, there not scary at all. But stitches are a different story. Stitches hurt. They sting. They make you bleed. And no one likes to bleed. Buttons are cute, stitches are not. But for one to work, you need the other. Blueberry was VERY exited. He was going to get a house above ground! The human, chara, had freed them all! And now, there's only a few more pieces of paper work left before all the monsters are allowed above ground! And to say blue was just happy would be the understatement of the year. He and his brother papyrus had all there boxes packed. They searched online, and pre-bought a house, and now all that was left was for Toriel to finish the last of the paperwork. Blueberry looked over to his brother who was laying on the couch. That was probably the only thing they won't be able to take with them, so it was staying here. "Hey papy?" The younger skeleton said, swinging his legs while sitting on a chair they left in the living room. "Yeah bro?" Pap asked sleepily. "Is the house going to be close to the other monsters and chara? Is the house pretty? Why did you refuse to let me see it?" Blue asked quickly. Papyrus sighed and sat up. "Blue, I'm real tired from moving all of those boxes. I'm going to head up stairs. I'll answer those questions later" the eldest brother said, getting up and walking towards the stairs. Blue sighed, than yelled up to his brother, "I'm going to go see the other san's! By!". "By" pap said dully from his room, and blue headed out into the snow. Once he got far enough away from Snowdin, he opened up a portal to the home dimension. The home dimension was basically the dimension were all the sans went on there free time. Sometimes there were papyrus's too. Once blue steeped through the portal, he was greeted by a hug. Geno (aftertale sans) wrapped his arms around blue and was shaking in fear. "What's wrong geno?! I'll beet up anyone who hurt you!" Blue said bravely. He looked over to fell (underfell sans) and narrowed his eye sockets. "Hey, don't look at me. It was reaper (reapertale sans)" fell said, and walked into the kitchen. Blue looked over to reaper, and gave him a death glare. "What did you do?!" Blue demanded, closing the portal and leading geno over to the couch. Reaper laughed nervously and looked off to the side. "Reaper..." Blue said menacingly. "Ok ok! I'm sorry! I accidentally bumped into geno, and I may have accidentally almost reaped him" reaper said guiltily. "OH! Why didn't you just say so?! It's no problem! Just apologies to geno! Geno, he's sorry, he's going to tell you himself!" Blue said happily, plopping down on the couch next to classic (undertale sans). Classic looked at blue while sipping a ketchup bottle, amusement clear in his eyes. "Heya blue. How's your AU goin?" He asked, setting his bottle down on the coffee table in front of them. "Good! We actually are heading up to the surface!" Blue said happily, and everyone stopped what they were doing. All eyes were on blueberry, who was utterly confused. There was a bang and a clatter from the kitchen, than fell came out. He had a pot on his head, and he was looking at blue in shock. "What?" Blue asked innocently, giggling at the pot on fells head. "Nothin. We just didn't know that you got your frisk" geno said, and blue stiffened. "Wha- OOOOOH! Oh, I'm sorry blue!" Geno apologized. "It's ok geno! I just don't like hearing that name..." Blue said sadly. "Anywho, ink (inktale sans) usually informed us whenever something big happened in an AU, so naturally we though that nothing big has happened" reaper said from across the room. Just as he finished that, ink came rushing in with an exited and gleeful expression. "GUYS GUYS!!! GUESS WHAT HAPPENED IN UNDERSWAP?!?!?!? THEY GOT FRE-" ink stopped when he noticed blue. "Oh. Aw mannnn! I wanted to tell them all!!!!!" Ink whined, trudging over to the couch. "Sorry ink! You can tell the others if you want though! I only told these guys so far" blue said. "YESSSSSSSSSS" ink yelled happily, falling down on the couch. "Well, I'm happy for ya blue! Congrats!" Fell congratulated, walking over and patting blues head affectionately (I ship it so hard. If you no like, go away Demond). "Yeah! I'm real happy for ya little blue!" Geno said happily. "Congrats" reaper said, smiling slightly. "Thank you all!" Blue smiled happily. "We're moving out of Snowdin in a little while! Papy isn't letting me see the house, but I think he just wants to surprise me! I hope it's close to chara and all the other monsters!" Blue said, swinging his legs. "Yeah, I got to live right next to all my friends, so I think it'll be the same for you" classic said reassuringly. Ink looked around nervously. "well, I got to get goin'. I think papy would want me back home now! By by!" Blue waved to all of them happily before jumping into the portal. ink sighed and looked down guiltily. Classic noticed and nudged him, asking "what's with the expression?". That got every one else's attention, and now all eyes were on ink. "Well... You know how underswap is the swapped version of everything from your world?" Ink asked classic. He nodded, and ink continued. "Well... That includes the surface homes. While everyone is close together on the surface in your world, in underswap... There all very far apart..." Ink said sadly. Fells eyes darkened, and he griped the back of the couch harder. "And you DIDNT TELL HIM?!" He shouted angrily. Ink was shocked at the sudden outburst, but he answered. "Well, blue was just so happy and cheerful! I didn't want to dampen that! Blue just... Isn't blue when he's sad" ink sighed, looking at his lap. "*sigh* I guess your right. But you'll have to tell him sometime. Or I will" fell said darkly, and hoped into a portal to his dimension. Reaper sighed and jumped into blues now vacant spot, and looked at everyone. "Movie night?". "Movie night" they all agreed.

This sassy little thing is Needle, my Stitches bitty. He gets very grumpy when it is hot out, so I made him these clothes to try and help. Needless to say, he prefers spring over summer any day!
I made some more @button-tale bitty cut-outs. I also got a Stitches. Pfft Im so inconsistent with my sizes like Wow Hm...which Buttonberry is closest to actual size? I might try and make them around that size if i draw others
