So, as Daisuke Ishiwatari has contemplated simplifying mechanics in the next Guilty Gear game (Rev2 is the last in the Xrd series), what mechanics do you expect to be changed to be made more "accessible" to newcomers. Personally, I think they can at least simplify the controller inputs a bit. Inputs: P+K (air OK) - Blitz Shield| [P+K] - Blitz Attack|backward P+K (air OK) - Faultless Defense| forward P+K (during blockstun) - Dead Angle Attack| K+S (air OK) - Throw | P+K+S (air OK) - Roman Cancel

Accessibility can only do so much before the game becomes too simplified for players to actually WANT to learn the game the way it was meant to be played. So there has to be a balance there.
You also have to consider how inputs affect other characters besides the ones you normally use, like Johnny, I-No, Zato, Millia, or Baiken, who use different inputs both for Blitz and for Roman Cancel, because of their usual input schemes, especially Negative Edge, Option Selects, and Faultless Defense Cancels.

It’s why I’ve advocated different RC input button mapping besides PKS, namely KSH, PKH, PSH.
