Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars are a delightful combination of sweet, nutty, crunchy, and buttery flavors. These bars make for a perfect treat for chocolate and pecan lovers alike. They are easy to prepare and ideal for various occasions.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed. 1/4 cup powdered sugar. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1 cup chopped pecans. 2 large eggs. 1 cup light corn syrup. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan. In a food processor, combine the flour, cold cubed butter, powdered sugar, and salt. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the crust. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped pecans evenly over the crust. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined. Pour the egg mixture over the chocolate and pecans in the pan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the bars are set and the top is golden brown. Let the bars cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting them into squares. Serve and enjoy!
