When an experiment at the hands of Professor Impossible leaves university student Butch with a werewolf-like conundrum given an aquatic twist, he seeks to resume his old life as a nobody-in-particular. However, as expenses start to pile from student loans to medication to keep his new gills healthy, he's offered a mysterious job. He only realises too late that he's now become a henchman to the supervillain Wide Wale, and gets caught up in a life of death, debt and destruction that he never asked for. At least it pays well.
