I think often people don’t appreciate enough the core of what Nic is doing in favour of a projection of what they want to see from her - I miss her more carefree sm content too, but I’m far more excited for the direction of her career, especially when there’s so much news about what we have to look forward to.

So here’s a reminder of the great new updates about Nicola in the past three weeks alone.

Following a surprise casting announcement for Only Murders in the Building in June, there was:

* Lancôme event appearance

* Filming leaks with Martin Short, Steve Martin, Selena Gomez and Jodie Whittaker.

* Surprise filming leaks and info about a new project previously unknown - Rhino aka Operation Wipeout.

* Off-menu podcast live episode.

The month hasn’t even ended yet. Nicola fans who value and appreciate the amazing work she’s doing has so much to celebrate. Exciting times ahead.

I was going through some fabric and totes this morning to see just what I had and how to use it and I WAS SHOCKED! Not only do I have some small projects that I started before Christmas, but I have some MAJOR projects that immediately went on my “bucket list” for 2022 that have been waiting for 5-20 years! I’m almost ashamed of myself but I do intend to finish them this year before I start any…

55. favorite fairy tale?

ana why would make me pick just one 😩 alice in wonderland was the first one that came to mind, so i’ll make that my answer. i love the fairytale, and the creepy theories behind it 🤪

66. favorite flower(s)?

sunflowers (they are majestic, so beautiful!) and gypsophilas (simple, though comforting. they don’t catch many people’s eyes, but they are pretty flowers.)

i’ve found a way to put both flowers in different fics i’ve written (two old souls, a baby and a sunflower, and love notes to aurora.)

a lil funny story: a few days ago, i went grocery shopping with my grandparents and saw a bouquet of gypsophilas on sale. i’ve never seen it anywhere apart flower shops and it was a really pleasant surprise. i didn’t buy it, but here’s a pic 💖

68. worst flavor of any food or drink you’ve ever tried?

i hate anything that tastes like peanut butter 🤢

87. your greatest fear?

it took me a while to think about this one. i hate the dark, though i can manage it if someone’s by my side. i’m scared of clowns, but i don’t mind them if someone’s holding my hand. so i think the answer is: loneliness.

88. your greatest wish?

right now, i just wish to have a good year. i’m moving out of my mother’s house in a month, so i’m living one day at the time. more than anything, i wish to feel settled down (again) in the city i love so much 💖
