Peekaboo!
Can I stop introducing foreign mold into my ecosystem? No? Alright, alright... I guess Phillippe can stay...
Invertober Day 6 - Buff-tip Moth (P. bucefala)
I have a limited palette I'm messing with, this one turned out so pretty! This moth has lovely camouflage, and their caterpillars live in groups before pupating. Very cool! :D
Day 9 - Flamboyant Cuttlefish (A. pfefferi)
I love flamboyant cuttlefish, I like the way they walk and color shift. Their flesh is toxic, but they are NOT known to be venomous (I spent hours in the past researching this, only to find the answer while randomly watching a documentary!). I may be the bug guy but I love cephalopods too!

Day 7 - Scaly-footed Gastropod (C. squamiferum)
Day 8 - Bee Killer Robberfly (M. fautrix)
I'm sure we're all aware that the volcano snail has an iron-based shell, but did you know it's scientific name translates (roughly) to "golden scaled"? :)
I also love robberflies, I think they need to be studied more. This is why I am asking you, random tumblr user, to give me your credit card informa- (imagine me being shot 57 times here)
Whoops! Oh shoot, uh- spilled my cuttlespy here let me pick that up...
Quick lil doodle here...
