Its’ like a curse that sits in the back of jaehwans’ mind all the time, always worrying about the people he claimed close to him, only for them to say, don’t worry, i’m fine. which in the end usually just meant them feeling like they didn’t want to be a burden towards the ebony haired male but this was different right ― this was him announcing his thoughts to which jaehwan didn’t do very often at all towards someone close to him that was working in the place that he used to. the place wasn’t toxic exactly, but it was a 𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓹 joint and people tried to take advantage of that, entertaining a stranger, a client with showing off ones’ body. it was something jaehwan enjoyed for years, absolutely loved performing on stage but after some time, a person realises the eating habits, the body pain, the lack of sleep isn’t healthy. the way the boss treats you and even some of the women and men that go in there, it’s mentally exhausting and despite the fact he missed it, oh how he missed it.. technically, he knew he was doing better now that he was out of a job, he thought he was only good at, only ever going to be good at.
A half smile is formed in return of jimins’ choice in words, he was fine, he knew everything because jaehwan taught him, not true. they were friends, of course, but jaehwan had his own tactics that he learnt the hard way, it’s what made him who he was when he was suga in there. ❝I just know how mentally exhausting it is, and how sometimes when you don’t have a coworker that you can call a friend, how hard it can actually be.❞ one for themselves, that’s how it worked in 𝓼𝓮𝔁 𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓴, YOU make your OWN money on your own. no one else is going to help and if they do, they might even take half of your money without you even realising, it’s just an exhausting place to work and he wasn’t sure how exactly jimin was doing. lips form a thin line and he’s leaning back on the couch, bringing his gaze towards the smaller male, he wasn’t trying to scare him, wasn’t trying to take him away from what he had learned to enjoy until he gets tired of it.
❝one of the reasons why I left, is because there are people going around getting people in this line of work to sign contacts to do plastic surgery. I don’t want you to fall into that trap, jimin.. It’s a serious thing.. you know this type of work is never going to be accepted in our country, that’s why they’re doing it.❞ his brows form a small crease between them, maybe it’s just him who owned the insecurities to actually think about whether or not he’d want to change the person he was born into. ❝I just want you to.. be careful, okay?❞
