Do I not get it because I'm not a bus driver?

I had a nice bus driver today. Several times, people would come running up to the bus after it had already left the bus stop and was waiting in front of a red traffic light. And he let them in. It can really fuck up your day when a bus driver shakes their head instead. And it is such a relief when you are allowed on, as the people were today, and you don't have to wait for the next bus.
Of course we should also be kind to bus drivers. Say hello when you get on, say or wave thank you when you get off. The work they do is incredibly important. Be kind.
it's kinda nice having a regular bus driver bcuz I swear during school the driver changed every day.

how did your bus drivers treat yall? Because the bus driver I had when I was 12 was probably my favorite. At the end of the school year he bought us all pizza. Sure some kids were practically boxing for that pizza but it was cool
