Well, apart from the far ranging and highly influential Strome-McLeod cult (which is obviously conspiracy number one), one of my other favourite ones is that Paul Marner tried to have Dylan’s secondary assists removed so that Mitch could win the OHL scoring title.  Also generally I believe that Dylan Strome and Mat Barzal are cosmically linked through gold medal game and mem cup losses. Thomas Chabot is sort of lumped in there too but he’s got his own problems in Ottawa.

i saw a game on at a restaurant i was at with some family friends and i truly couldn’t look away! i had never considered getting into sports before that but now here we are lol

4) how did your love for hockey start?

So i live in vancouver and was surrounded by a hockey loving family/culture growing up, but never really cared that much, and then actively hated hockey all through high school because ugh sports.  then i discovered that hockey on the internet was gay as hell lmao.  So tbh i started caring about hockey after reading hockey rpf.  I fell wildly out of love again a few years ago bc of the k*ne case.  And then just this past year for whatever reason (probably bc my close friend was also getting into hockey) I just fell hard and fast right back in it

5) what do you love most about hockey?

the absolute elation of a win, seeing players you like do well, connecting online with other fans, there are so! many! things! I think I also just really love enjoying something that i felt so alienated by for so many years, but doing so on my own terms.  Like the way in which i consume hockey is Not The Same as the way my dad or his friends watch hockey.  It’s just so fun to be queer and neuro divergent and to view this insular sub culture through those lenses. yeah.
