My newest size comparisson featuring the newly named genus Sutekhsuchus, previously known as Tomistoma dowsoni.
This gharial lived some 17 million years ago in what is now Egypt and Libya, at the time lush coastal environments comprised of swamps, estuaries, lagoons and meandering rivers.
For more info see this blog I've previously written on Sutekhsuchus or check out the Wikipedia page (also courtesy of me).
