False Gharial aka Malayan Gharial (Tomistoma schlegelii), subadult, family Gavialidae, found in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia
At one time, herpetologists believed this species should be placed in the crocodile family, Crocodylidae.
They are now placed in the Gharial family.

This is Ganga, the boatswain onboard The Menagerie. It’s her job to make sure that there are enough provisions aboard to feed the whole crew. Bad news: there aren’t! Luckily, as a gharial, Ganga can catch her own fish to eat. Sad for the others, but they should have thought ahead and been crocodilians too!
If you would like to know more about Ganga and her sunny outlook on life, please follow my Kickstarter for Sail of the Menagerie to be notified at launch!
