Phew, what a day. Toad hid behind the castle entrance, as a couple wild Ptooies ran pas in a crowded fashion. He might like adventuring and exploring, but he also likes to live too! After a quick shake, he felt like he had to go check up on the Princess, and get his mind away from any thoughts of imminent peril.
"Hey, Princess? Princess!" He called out, as he walked past the big, grand hallways; She wasn't at the throne room, with the big chair and the stairs and all that... nor was she admiring the view of the balcony! So then where could the Princess be at?
Just as Toad started to get a little curious, he began to hear the sounds of... gardening tools? Of course, the garden! And so, that's where he decided to follow.
"Alright everybody, we got a big day planned for our man Mario! Let's see if we can't get any decorations set up at the castle!" It's been quite the while since the Mario Bros. defeated Bowser and both saved the Mushroom Kingdom and decided to become official residents, so Toad figured; Why not throw a big party for the two heroes on a day that looked like it said MARIO?

The little mushroom man chuckled at Cuphead's comment, and cracked open a warm smile. "Haha, of course there's more to this place than just mushrooms!" Walking along his path, Toad introduced Cuphead to Toad Town, where not a lot of fungi grew, but a lot of fun guys had grown up.
"This here's Toad Town! There's pipes for some easy fast-paced travel, a pet shop, and even a Crazy Cap store where you can pick up some new clothes, regional souvenirs, or whatever else might be of use to ya!"
"Ooh, and there's the Antique store! They got some real old goodies there, even some that I wasn't around for, like these Dragon Coins; They aren't viable currency anymore, but I think they make for good Novel T. items!" Toad shared one of the Antique store's coins with Cuphead.
"Anything else you might like to check out?" Toad happily asked him.
