youre in luck, as recently ive just started fleshing the aftons out.

elizabeth was actually the reason for mrs afton to finally distance herself altogether from visiting the boys. after her divorce with william, shed been giving frequent visits, doing it for the kids. but that changed when william adopted a little girl.

theres nothing wrong with wanting to adopt a child, to give them a new home. yet everybody whispered and pointed out. how elizabeth had been adopted in that specific window of time when william got divorced, how william would seem to be training her to take care of the house, to be some sort of mini-housewife.

he wasnt predatory towards the child, he didnt go that far, no. but he would insist on taking her thick rimmed glasses off, on undoing her braids, on making her look ‘cute and always ready for pictures’. on getting her to always watch for the boys while he worked endlessly on his ever secret projects in that basement of his.

needless to say, it gets a bit uncomfortable seeing a father treat his daughter that way. his ex wife couldnt do anything. she just knew she couldnt bear how william would always insist on having elizabeth be his ‘little lady of the house’.

elizabeth grew up sheltered, only knowing mostly the company of her family, and later on, one of her fathers projets, the one she got to see closely. circus baby was made for her, isnt that nice? she could never know what would happen if she approached her new robotic playmate when she was all alone.
