To be fair, they hadn’t started out holding hands. They hadn’t even started out handcuffed to each other, but then these things didn’t always go exactly to plan. But together, the two were nothing if not creative. They’d meant to handcuff the criminal they were currently chasing, but the little guy was just so darn slippery. Nick was supposed to be the sly one, yet he’d been outfoxed… by a weasel. This was so embarrassing. Plus, running when handcuffed to your hoppity partner was difficult enough, so he didn’t hesitate in taking her paw. It would make running together easier, right? “Come on, Carrots - hold my hand!
