It was in this bay that we spotted a playful southern right whale calf and its Mom just 200m from shore. The slap of the calf’s fluke was so loud that it echoed across the bay. Bunker Bay at ground level is just as beautiful. Trees and shrubs grow at the waters edge, and the spring flowers are out at the moment 🌳🌼🌸🌺 It is secluded so there are only ever a handful of other people around at any time.
