Hands down The Boxcar Children series (the first was my favorite). I didn't really know any English when I came to the states permanently, so my mom would drag me to the library and drop me off in the children's section. Those books helped me learn English and made me love reading.
Rhododendron: What's the scariest dream you've ever had?
This is a hard one because my dreams always tend to be really trippy...There's a particularly memorable repeating dream where I get chased by this supernatural cannibal and it eats everyone from my old English teacher to my dad. I've had dreams where I'm chased down at gunpoint, where people that I love die, where people that I love try to kill me...
