16 Week Baby Bump
16 weeks! I have a tiny little bump. Can you see it??
Health-wise, I'm feeling awesome. Way more energy than I had during my first trimester that is for sure. I've been taking morning walks with Tim and the dogs which has been wonderful. I've actually been speed walking on said walks which turns out is way more of a work out than I ever thought when I saw the old ladies speed walking around the mall. I was thinking about growing out my hair for a bit but then decided to keep it short for a while longer. Its been so hot I can't imagine having hair touching my neck.
We've been making little bits of progress on the house and preparing for the baby. We have a crib! It has drawers, shelves, and a changing table built in which we are very happy about. Tim's mom and sister have officially stated that they are doing the nursery which I have no objections to whatsoever. They are amazing at those kinds of things so I know it will be perfect.
I've been trying to see if I can feel the baby move but nothing yet. With your first baby it can take up to week 20 to feel it so I am waiting patiently but excitedly for that moment. There are so many changes happening both to my body and mind. Its a very exciting time. Tim has even been thinking a lot about the future and how our life will be with this new little one. We are so blessed and thankful.
