I was pleasantly surprised when cousin Let handed me this box of pie from The Husband's Craving in Tarlac City.
Trust me when I say that this buko pie is the best tasting in Tarlac City. You will never find anything like it anywhere else.
I was told that you need to be on a list for you to be able to get your hand on this box as the baker will only bake a couple of pie and only when she's in the mood to make it.
Buko pie was a common scent & sight on the bus and at bus terminals from Pangasinan in the north to Batangas in the south. Then we stopped seeing it since the pandemic last year.
