When @thehiddengood spoke to migrant workers all over Singapore about their dreams, I was taken by surprise. Watching their eyes light up as they shared about the businesses they dreamed of building back home to create jobs for their community, their desire to educate their children and give them the opportunities they never had, or to raise awareness on environmental issues, made my heart swell. Listening to their hopes and their dreams reminded me about why it's so important for us to remember the "why" behind why we do what we do. For these workers, keeping safe at work allows them to keep them dreams safe too. They work so hard to build the Singapore we live in today because they have dreams waiting for them back at home - but it's so easy for us to overlook that. We live in a city #builtbyheroes - so let's start giving them the credit they deserve. Regardless of where we come from, we all have hopes and dreams.
