Hi, my name is Charmaine Moya and I am a NextGen ambassador for Gawad Kalinga USA-Oklahoma. We are an organization that hope to end poverty one community at a time through education, community building, and generous giving.

Gawad Kalinga is a HUGE organization that is located everywhere in the US and all over the world! We are working together to help the poorest of the poor in Philippines by building homes for their families and generations to come, and by creating sustainability in their lives and helping them get jobs as well.

In Oklahoma, our current project is to build homes for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in 2013. Yes those people who suffered a few years ago are still needing help to rebuild their lives.

$4,000 will help build one home for a family, and that family can stay at that home, free of charge, and their future generations as well. GK does not just leave them at that, but we will help them continue to grow and provide assistance along the way.

PLEASE help me in my journey in helping my home, Philippines, and giving back to the community. I am fortunate enough to have moved here in Oklahoma, and I would like an opportunity to give back to my country. If my goal is met, not only will you be able to provide for homes to come for many families, but you will also enable me to travel back home and help build these homes as well. It is not only my hope and dream to help those in Philippines, but I feel it is also my duty as a human being.
