everything in my life is on fire but I did just buy a sweater amount of yarn for the first time… and it’s gonna be an insect sweater :)
I’ll be knitting the leafhopper sweater with drops lima in dark ivy + chalk and I am so thrilled and ready to dedicate my life to this project in hopes I can knit away my troubles….
is it going to be both my first sweater and my first color work project? yes.
do I think I can do it? honestly yes! I totally think I can. I played around with the colorwork chart and figured out how to do corrugated ribbing (I’m obsessed) and tbh I do think I’m ready to tackle this project!
now I just have to hope that the tariffs don’t compromise my yarn delivery.
