#bug player

I love the tongue eating louse player idea, and it has so many crazy ideas that you can attach to it and also i really like your phoenix :) they're so fun. the glasses, the fringe, they seem really chill. and bug.

Player is a species of tongue eating locus semi aquatic bug  (?), who has attached to phoenix around the start of ietyd 1. During the recovery process of the TK implant player attached themselves to phoenix. Taking the place of phoenix tongue, the EOD have no idea how this happened. And tried to remove player, but player and Phoenix's thoughts had combined by the time they tired. Phoenix drools a lot, due to their tongue being removed to accommodate player when they attached to phoenix. They have developed sialorrhea, and are unable to talk properly, although the EOD has provided a speech therapist to help phoenix be able to communicate again. Phoenix and player have conversations to each other with their thoughts. Often talking about co-workers. Phoenix and Player refer to themselves as we, and use they/them interchangeably. Around ietyd 2, phoenix has learned to make small words, although struggle. At ietyd 3, they can make sentences, they struggle with long words. Player was far away from their normal habitat and so attached themself to phoenix as a replacement to their habitat.

Players species usually live in wet and warm areas, their species usually eat fruits,weeds and scraps of food left by bigger herbivores, (did i mention player is a herbivore??). Main things of the diet are blue berries and strawberries, When they grow bigger, they eat bigger fruits and weeds. In the wild, they can grow lengthwise as long as a small dog. IF THEY HAVE A LARGE ENOUGH AREA!!!!! player does not, so they remain as small as possible. IF one of players species has the proper envroment, and diet, they can grow as big as a pike. Around 16–30 inches (40–76 cm). very big!!! okay now phoenix time. Phoenix is about 25 in the first game, 27 in the second and third. (as i assume second and third happen right after eachother.) phoenix doesnt really have a name yet... but im working on it!!! They are asexual. COUGH but have been married and have a child. COUGH. They have alexithymia, also known as emotional blindness. They developed this around death engine, and it worsened after the peace summit. Player and phoennix can switch being in control, but csan also be in control at the same time, cutscenes are when player AND phoenix are in control. i dont really have phoenix devopled yet, so whenever i want to update this ill just reblog this and add onto it,

this game taught me things that i didnt know bees experienced like common to legendary rarity flowers and bug pvp /joking

Zor is actually very intrigued by player and phoenix situation! the reason they wanted footage of phoenix in ietyd 2 is to see how much the player and phoenix work together. They want to extract player to study it, to see if the reason of player replacing phoenix's tongue be repliacated.

the recording for this video is actually my first time playing the game! i think its pretty fun and charming and the story seems super interesting so far!

a bit of a retro style game thats very charming! as of posting this i actually still have yet to fully complete the game! hopefully that changes in the future pft

warning for the video! the graphics may be a bit of an eye strain to some folks and there is flashing in some aspects of the game!

not necessarily a content warning but the duel minigames do require you to have a fast reaction time but there is a setting to make the timing windows bigger so its not as demanding!
