#bug personal stuff

Yeah, I'm still here, sometimes. Haven't forgotten you guys, but haven't really felt like hanging around here for a while, and probably still won't, unless Twitter crashes and burns.

I am taking a break from Tumblr starting Monday, Nov. 18, through Saturday, Nov. 23.  This is both because of the imminent release of Frozen II, and the flood of activity that will cause, and for personal reasons.

That said, my usual reblogging will be at a bare minimum, so I can spend as much quality time as I can with my girlfriend @patricia-von-arundel over the course of the week.  (My queue will continue normally.) I may pop in occasionally, for example to give a reaction to seeing Frozen II on Thursday night, but other than that, not much.

This is going to sound really awkward, because I am awkward.  As many of you know.  But you who follow this particular blog are closer friends than most, and I trust you.

I’m going to turn 35 in three weeks.  And every time I think about it, I get depressed.  If you know me well, you probably know why.

However, I am reminded of a close friend of mine who once suggested sending birthday cards.  And I thought that might cheer me up.  Except... no one outside my family has ever sent me one.

Now, I am NOT saying that to guilt trip anyone.  There is absolutely no obligation to do this.  And of course, some of you are outside the US, so that makes things difficult.
