I nearly gave myself a fatal asthma attack by pouring bleach on them and then immediately spraying them now with bug MD and then spraying it with paint sealant who try and keep them away from the new mattress.

I have spent the last 5 minutes with duct tape patching the holes that were in the extremely thick plastic that went around the mattress that hubby cut into when he was removing the mattress from the box. I am hoping the plastic never comes off. Even though it will not be exactly comfortable with the plastic on under the sheets, I am not going back to having a bed bug infested bed.
