Hey there! I will be studying in Western New York for awhile and i would like to know if there are any active Homestucks? I'm a bit new around here so I dont really know whethere or not you guys have conventions or meet-ups, but i'll assume theres at least one!! I'd really like to get to know some of you, so message me if you have any info about this or if you know of some friends that are into homestuck! c:
Hey, so I'm going to Buffalo to visit family for a few days, and I'm going to feel weird being away from all my friends from NYCstuck. Are there any Homestucks in the Buffalo-Toronto area holding meetups in the upcoming week?
If you live in WNY you should highly consider boycotting the Rochester event Anibash. The guy who runs it is extremely discriminatory against Homestuck cosplayers, saying things like how he’d like to kill and light them all on fire- even the underage ones. He also tried to allow anti-Homestuck panels at his event. When asked to not allow anti events he threatened to cancel the whole event (he does this a few times a year). Additionally, he is known to be exceptionally clingy to underage girls. When called out on this, he became incredibly defensive- he plays the victim at any opportunity.
