DARLING, I AM HERE FOR YOU. After weeks at the Buddhist Temple and only 15 minutes morning meditations with our #ChanMaster, I began my personal #Sadhana again and never missed a day. While, a few of us would wake up earlier then required (3am or 4am), hike to #buddhaland and watch the sunrise 🌅. On this day I had the Sun to my left and the fullmoon to my right. It was time to use my bag of goodies. I was surprised (yet again), we would wake up and straight into a short meditation. No stretches involved other then walking to the meditation site (which is breathtaking). I often wondered why such a short morning meditation? Why no stretches?Perhaps it’s the #yogi in me, but on that FULLMOON I implemented a few postures where I didn’t need to lay down or a yoga mat (triangle pose and sun salutation) then hiked back to meet up with the group for our morning line up (just like in boot camp💪🏼) drenched and off to meditation. Those few exercises made a night and day difference for me. My body was relaxed, muscles loose. I was able to go deep into meditation almost immediately. And THATS the power of #Sadhana in a foreign country. Today as we move into our next FULLMOON, I was reminded how powerful we are. We feel low energy? Lack of focus? We can raise and lower our human thermostat as we please at any given moment of the day. And as I complete my Sadhana, it’s as if I here my soul whisper our November mantra : Darling, I am here for you. #kundaliniyoga #mantra (at 佛光山佛陀紀念館 Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum)
