Rant about entitled parents.
Let’s talk.
I found this photo posted by my lovely cousin, who has a cringey way of looking at things. If you have this mindset, I automatically hate you and you’re a moron. This is not the first time I have seen something like this, I once read a long dragged out post about a mother being pissed that people who aren’t children are allowed in Disney Parks. Yes, that’s right. She called a teenager a slut/bitch because she was in line to get a pretzel, and this mother did not want to wait to get a pretzel behind the girl.
Let’s be super realistic about this, most people who have children want children, let’s use the average life as an example.
1. Nobody forced you to have sex to create this human being, nobody force you to have the child, and nobody force you to become a parent to the child. You believe that having a child makes you a special and entitled person? Wrong bitch, mostly everybody is going to have a child at some damn point and it doesn’t make them anymore special than the average childless human being.
2. You are not entitled to anything because you have this kid. Like, it’s just that fucking simple. Maybe in a life or death situation, then I’d be all “Save the mother and children!” like a Titanic scene, but this isn’t the Titanic, this IS A NORMAL LIFE WHERE YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO SHIT.
3. Why should everyone else suffer for your lifestyle decision? Guess what honey, we shouldn’t. The world isn’t a place where everyone bows down to your special needs and wishes because you had a baby. You are not the pretty pretty princess because you are doing something men and women around the world are doing, shut up Karens.
4. The fact that you truly believe because someone is 22 means they have no issues in life makes you an absolute twat. Somebody had to say it, and it was me. People of all ages are struggling and suffering daily. They could be handling mental illnesses, disabilities, and just some real fucking hard life issues. Boo-Hoo, you had to wake up to take the kids to school so you don’t wanna wait in the line like the rest of us. The lady in front of you that you think you should be allowed to skip could have had somebody close to them died recently, or considering killing themselves, or being abused by their boyfriend/girlfriend at home. BUT I GUESS FUCKING KAREN GETS TO SKIP THE LINE BECAUSE SHE HAS C H I L D R E N.
5. I am not speaking out of my ass here, nor am I being a bitter bitch. I know parenting is hard, I know adult life is hard, I know providing for a child and doing just the daily activity's can be a major challenge. I love and support parents who are doing their best, but having a child does not give you any special access to skipping lines and bullshit like that. This is coming from someone who has helped and continues to help raise a special needs child after my stepfather died in a young point of my siblings life. I have stepped up to the plate, I have experienced the life of taking care of children, but none of us are fucking entitled to anything.
Sorry for the rant, but this topic really bugs me.
I'm not sure I believe you.
