Happy New Year everybody! 🎉 It's already 2020, but there's no stopping me to write about my #bestof2019 takeaways. 📝

From round 1 in Bataan, round 2 of #teambuilders travel happened in Iloilo. 🙌 This sounds cheesy and not-so-me, but I guess we had fallen in love with the “City of Love”! 😍

Ivy and Pat asked me to come up with an itinerary and my #tagabundok bias was very much evident. 😁 On our first day, we went to Bucari, Leon: “Iloilo’s Little Baguio”. 🌲 I just posted about the “Summer Capital”, but I would rather go back to its Western Visayas counterpart for 3 reasons:

1. Within the 2-hour duration of the trip, there's no traffic at all; and the best part is to travel up riding a habal-habal. 🙌 Vroom, vroom! 2. Few tourists go to Bucari and you'll surely appreciate the place because of the natural (and personal) space! 👌 Yaaas! 3. It’s a one-stop getaway for adventure seekers who love trekking, hiking, rock climbing, camping, etc! 👍 Basically, everything that a #tagabundok loves. 💚 Ehehe!

From a "nginig tuhod" experience in Mansiga Viewing Deck (oh, btw it's just a pine tree branch 😅) to a "tiis-ganda" climb of White Rock, all sides of Bucari are picture perfect! 📷 Lawit dila paakyat, 👅 pero worth it lahat! 💯

Alam niyo yung feeling na parati kong sinasabi na ayaw na ayaw kong umakyat ng bundok? Pero in the end, kapag gusto kong mag-travel, pinipili ko pa din mag hiking kahit nakakapagod. Gulo ko lang teh 😂 Pero, adventure feeds the soul so... ❤

Been eyeing this place since 2016 when I lived in Iloilo for 6 months. I wasn’t able to go here because I was just a fresh graduate and I don’t have enough money to spend for travelling, knowing that Panay Island has a lot to see. But here we are! After 3 years, I was able to hike and reach the top of this place ❤ Sobrang fulfulling. Sobrang ganda! Partida hinihika-hika pa ako paakyat para lang marating ang tuktok XD Pero worth it siya.

Point is, everything will happen if you want it to be. Hindi mo man makamit ang gusto mo, makakamit at makakamit mo rin yan pagdating ng panahon. Good thigs come to those who wait. 😉
