   Zhongli’s experience in war and carnage left him with the muscle memory of a vicious warrior, no matter how far he sought to disconnect himself from that identity. As long as he stood, it would be impossible for him to forget how to cut flesh and crush bone, to descend pillars from the heavens above to bury his foes underneath the embrace of his earth. However – he was no longer fighting within the form of a god or a dragon, and instead had his own size reduced to that of a man. And that was all it took to make fighting new again for him.

   His skills and precision never changed, but it wasn’t until his traveling companion grasped at his wrist did he finally see an area of his suitcoat and undershirt was torn. It meant nothing to him, but upon viewing the expression on the doctor’s face, he found himself unable to refuse ‘treatment’.

   Now he finds himself seated in the wilderness against stone, the tailcoat of his suit nearly folded into his lap as Baizhu holds onto his arm to view the area of his ‘wound’. The enemy had been a simple abyss mage, that Zhongli wasted little time with, and yet he managed to overlook the last icicle that soared passed his skin, grazing him. Again, it meant nothing to him, and for that reason he wears a frown when faced with medicine. ❝  …Doctor Baizhu. I respect your profession but, I must confess that your skills may be useless on me.  ❞ The last thing he wants is for resources to be wasted on him, but when the other doesn’t even so much as glance up over his glasses, he makes no move to correct him further.

   The wound, requires no mending, as his skin appears untouched. Even without his Archon abilities, his body retains his strength as an adeptus. It’s apparent he requires no bandages, and eventually he takes his arm away from Baizhu’s grasp with a small frown. Should the other man be confused, he fears he cannot find it within himself to tell the other the truth of his circumstances. ❝  It would be unsightly for me to keep you away from your pharmacy any longer. Come, we should make our way back to the harbor.  ❞
