It reminded me of the time I mentioned that I think I deserve to be compensated for something I'm doing that is technically not part of my job responsibilties in my role but my supervisor decided to say that they're tired and overworked too. I see that, I hear that, but it was up to them to speak up for their own misery. If they did not want it or want to be compensated better, then they should've been appreciated more or be considered more. Everyone is overworked and underappreciated in my department but it was ridiculous how originally I was compensated doing the same duties for another executive previously but for this one they said na it's just part of the "to be assigned" duties and should not have additional compensation lol. Anyway, sucks to be sick and have so much shit to do at work.
