IN OTHER BUBBLE TEA NEWS
Remind me to stop being so adventurous with what flavors of bubble tea I get... Stick to the classics: coconut, green tea, and taro. Peach = never happening again.

Musing for the evening:
Chinese-style bubble tea > Vietnamese-style. If you don't know the difference, the Vietnamese-style looks like this: 60% shaved ice, 39% tea, 1% tapioca pearls. The Chinese make it more like 10% ice cubes, 80% tea, 10% tapioca pearls. They cost the same, though... so I always order it Chinese-style :) My Vietnamese boyfriend does the same thing here, but back home bubble tea costs less than a nickel and it's 185 degrees, so he just takes it how it comes. All that ice only makes sense if it's that hot :P
