Most Popular One-shot: that would be Wisps and Wants which is a Solavellan nsfw trio describing Solas and Ariwynās first time together. I kinda find it hard to limit myself to strict one-shots haha
Most Popular Multichap: the only one I have published haha, The Hunt. It easily overshadows my other fics because Iāve been writing it for 2 years, and it has 222,754 words and 57 chapters as of right now... And Iām only like halfway throughĀ
Favorite story youāve written so far: I think I have to say The Hunt again, because itās been my project for the past two years. Its earlier chapters donāt quite match my current writing style anymore, and itās a little bumpy thanks to a lack of planning early on, but itās my favourite until I start more long fics I can get invested in!
Fic you were nervous to post:Ā All of my nsfw ones lmao. Iām still relatively new to writing smut so it was a little scary to post them at first, but as I write more Iām starting to learn more!
How do you choose your titles:Ā With much difficulty... I used to name my fics before I started writing, mostly based on a scene or dialogue or concept I have for one section. Nowadays, I have an idea and canāt wait to write it so Iāll give my WIPs temporary names that SUCK until I have to post and think of a new name lmao. E.g. Wisps and Wants was namedĀ āFade dream 1/2/3ā³ and A Business Trip was namedĀ āFade dream sequel 1/2/3.ā One of my WIPs is literally calledĀ āuh oh papaā so... thereās that.
Do you outline: yes! I try to, otherwise I end up writing senseless nonsense that then just becomes a block I canāt write through. Iām holding back off starting my new long fic I want to write until Iāve ironed out all the details. This is the current stack of information I wrote for myself when planning The Hunt:
So yes I try desperately to plan! If I donāt have a plan I end up rambling like I did a bit in the early chapters of The Hunt. I kinda knew where I wanted to go but I didnāt fully until I forced myself to sit down and write it.
Complete:Ā Uhh... Do one-shots count? Lol. I suppose my trios of fics which are little short stories on their own count, but I donāt even have many of those.
In progress: Yikes; The Hunt, When in Orlais,Ā āuh oh papaā (yes iām aware this name is terrible but you will suffer with me), and an as of right now unnamed new long fic.
Prompts?: I find it difficult to find prompts I can stick with for long, because I usually get bored part way through. Sometimes though I can try to stick it out and write a reasonably long thing based on a prompt, but I suppose I have to be really inspired by the prompt and more often than not, Iām not :(
Upcoming work youāre most excited about:Ā probably the new long-fic Iām planning that I canāt share info about yet because I havenāt planned it out lmao. But itās Solavellan so that always makes me excited.Ā
Worlds I would love to write for in the future:Ā da4, obviously, though itās going to hurt my little solavellan heart. With cyberpunk coming out soon, maybe that? Iāve written for Mass Effect in the past too but never really been content with anything I made, so maybe more Mass Effect in the future. I want to write more Origins and 2 as well! I need to finish whatās available of Baldurās Gate 3 too because Astarion...
