The Italian electrical systems firm BTicino has published the book Axolute Style Tech on the occasion of the presentation of the high-tech electrical system Axolute, which permits creating artificial landscapes or atmospheric symphonies in keeping with the mood of the user.
The book is a luxurious volume produced by Cristina Morozzi, design critic and author of works such as Oggetti risorti (1998) or Stile Italiano... (2000).
This book revolves around new ways of interrelating with the inhabited space, where high-tech systems permit the user to illuminate rooms at will and to thus express his or her sensibility and creativity. Going to high technology to return to candlelight. This personalisation of the surrounding space responds to the expansion of the idea of accessible luxury, which has made profound inroads into the world of fashion and architecture.
The work, enriched by the artistic direction of Fabrizio Sclavi, the essays of Giusi Ferré and Marco Romanelli and the photographs of Robert Polidori and Enrico Suà Ummarino, visualises luxury and fashion spaces through words and images, places where the connection with design and architecture emerges in a very evident way.
