In the world of Brighter Than Dark, there are many regions to explore. The first leg of your journey will start in Aber, the largest country of the World, a fertile land with an amiable climate and hospitable weather. Further adventures will be determined by player interaction and regular polling. Arc One:       - The air is balmy and warm as Central Aber marches on further into summer. Everyone from everywhere is stricken with wanderlust, packing up as the wind carries them closer to the capitol. The Midsummer Harvest Festival is upon us, and wherever you live, you know that the place to be headed is Lochy. The Midsummer Festival is a grand spectacle held every warm season to celebrate the hard work of Aber's farmers and merchants. Wonderful festivities are abound, amidst boisterous cobbled streets lined with trade stalls.          However, this year, a darkness looms over the festival. One of the queen's most trusted advisors, a well known oracle, has predicted disaster on the biggest night of the summer. Despite this, she refuses to cancel, knowing very well the people of Aber look forward to nothing quite as much as this.      As you make your way to the capitol, you feel a chill run down your spine, a slight but persistent unease haunting you. You hope things will go well, but... Why do you have a feeling that something is going to happen?

Sage is an elven youth who lives alone on a farm in Central Aber, comprised of a considerable amount of land in the Rolling Place. He grew up the only child of two successful high elf farmers, and spent most of his young life at home tending to his crops and livestock. Eventually, they passed, and Sage inherited the farm from them. A seemingly simple individual, Sage has a straightforward personality and a generally carefree disposition. Though he appears to be an average farmer, as time has passed, others have found him to be more mysterious than perhaps they first bargained for. With many connections in Aber’s capitol Lochy, particular tastes and a strange herb in hand, one might begin to wonder exactly who Sage really is. Is he truly just a farmer, or something more? Players should keep a close eye on this individual, and perhaps regard him with some amount of suspicion and caution. There might be more to him than meets the eye.
