Bible, who plays our sweetheart and the very very nice guy next door character, Vegas in kinnporsche

Was recently spotted being a tiny bit awkward at this event

He looks pretty happy here, and I don’t have the video of him standing a little on the side, while mile was taking pics, where Bible is most likely trying to figure out his socialisation strategy for the event (as some people sometimes do, and something that is also a common thing for introverts)

People found a few seconds video and caused a whole lot of chaos and said things like

“He’s not ready why did BOC force him to be there”

“Boc should’ve sent build with him (he’s so lost without biu)”

“Omg he’s an introvert save him”

“I feel so bad for him *cries*”

I mostly saw this on twitter and I just need to get this off my fucking chest so I can breath (I sound so dramatic lol but I really have to say this). I can’t do this in twitter bcs drama and chaos, so I thought I’ll put it here, on my cute little blog.

Bible is not a helpless child. Introverts are not helpless or weak. The way some people have been talking about him and this one instance makes it seem like he doesn’t know what he’s doing. He has enough credentials under his belt as a student, as an engineer, as an actor, as an entertainer, and even just as a person, to not be seen as someone who doesn’t know what he’s doing just because everyone saw one clip of him seemingly being a little awkward.

Especially as an introvert myself, we are okay. We have different ways of socialising and yes we look a little awkward sometimes, just like everyone does. Literally everyone gets awkward sometimes, it’s not even exclusive to being an introvert or an extrovert.

But the whole narrative everyone creates of introverts being helpless, awkward (idk I can’t find exact words) is not okay. Introverts are fine.

They know what to do once they learn and grow enough to figure themselves out and how they operate, which I really think Bible has.

No, I don’t speak for bible, and idk him, but I do know how it feels to be a 24 year introvert working and being an adult— just existing and being myself and people making the most inaccurate assumptions because of it.

It honestly feels so reductive of his achievements. He has constantly tried to grow as a person in the entertainment business (from what we can see as fans). We should trust him.

You don’t need to protect the people you stan, constantly, with pitchforks ready to go. They just need support and room to grow.

Also, wtf is with some people saying things like “if biu was there it would be better” . Like Mile was right there, they all get along with each other. The whole team is awesome as coworkers.

Bible and Build are two different people. Let them be. They are lovely together— fun and cute, yes. And None of what I say negates that. But they are two people.

As for BOC, I’m sure they don’t make him do things he won’t be comfortable with.

And I can tell a lot of it is coming from a place of care and worry from fans.

I just hope people remember that they are ok, they’re fine. They are just doing their job.

I’ve been in the fandom culture for so long, I know how quickly these things lead to unhealthy drama both for fans and the artist.

They’re full grown adults, they know what they’re doing. Most of the time. Even if they don’t, they. are. adults. They can make their own decisions.

We can baby them, but let’s only do it ironically. Wouldn’t it be better like that?
