    after all, they’d traveled with blackbeard and his crew for much longer than they’d like to admit. running away from asgard for some time after an arguement with their father. sometime to keep themselves busy as odin cleared his head. that didn’t mean they were completely free of speculation, after merging with stede bonnet’s worthless crew they’d been forced to face someone with actual knowledge of their godly origin. the swede ranting on and on, worriedly, about the god loki cursing their ship with their evil ways. 

    lovely to know their reputation still proceeded them on earth.

     harley’s standing bouncing on her bed ( bright pink,  thanks to the grandmaster’s designers ! ),  riding the high from her latest victory in the arena.  sure,  they don’t let her fight the big guy,  but she gets to warm up the crowd,  fight in some of the smaller matches.  she tries not to kill ! she really does.  but,  hey,  gotta crack some eggs to make an omelet or whatever,  right?  working for another homicidal maniac is not how she wanted to be spending this time,  but at least it doesn’t rain all the time on sakaar. 

   “ i’m gonna kill the grandmaster. ”  she announces brightly,   not giving a single fuck whether or not anyone other than @brynhildrtm​ hears her.  what’s the worst thing they can do to her?  melt her?  yeah,  okay.  “ and when i take over this place,  you can be my right-hand woman.  sound like a plan? ”

“That depends entirely on the person who’s dead.” Maria said dryly, looking up from rifling through the pockets of the man that had just tried to shove a spear through Brunnhilde’s chest. “Him, not so much. Seems like we might be better off with him the way he is. You want to see me respect the dead, well —” she shrugged. Considering her main job today was to make sure no one attacked Asgardian royalty, she was feeling pretty pleased with herself. “There’s always tomorrow. Maybe I’ll learn how.” No identification of any kind. Maria moved on to her portable fingerprint scanner, though considering the weapon she was willing to bet he wasn’t from Earth. “You know anyone who doesn’t like you this much?”
