“  well  that’s  not  VERY  CRICKET  of  you  .  ”  the  doctor  said  ,  noting  his  younger  self  with  some  humour  .  his  mouth  hung  open  in  a  goofy  smile  for  a  second  before  watching  the  much  younger  version  of  himself  stand  with  an  air  of  authority  .  cricket  jumper  &&  stick  of  celery  &&  the  specs  that  he  knew  he  definitely  didn’t  need  .  huh  .  there  was   some  DEFINITE  questionable  choices  in  there  .  his  hands  twisted  together  for  a  second  then  he  furrowed  his  brow  .  “  get  it  ?  ”  he  asked  ,  pointing  at  the  cricket  trousers  &&  shoes  .  “  cricket  ?  ”

Ian rolled his eyes. “And I suppose you don’t know how to fix it.” Without waiting for the Doctor to answer he went over to the doors, grabbing at one as it opened. He found it to be big and heavy and had to use both hands. But even so, as it tried to close again, it dragged him along, threatening to close on his fingers if he didn’t remove them.

“Really?” Merlin raised his eyebrows--oh, come on, at least he didn’t roll his eyes. Honestly, that was his first instinct here. “That’s what you’re going to go with right this moment?”

   “First off, I got thrown out of the Tardis OVER a damn volcano, then I had to deal with the MASTER, and after that? A group of angry Sontarans in the time of CHRIST! You know what? I’ve had a hell of a week and it’s NOT even Tuesday!” Should he have been yelling? No, he shouldn’t, but that didn’t mean that Grant wasn’t going to - more so when he had a hell of a time so far. “It’s one thing to deal with games... ANOTHER to deal with those blue armored replicated soldiers.”

The small brunette woman looked to the Doctor in surprise. She wasn’t sure what sort of reaction she expected from him, but nevertheless, his politeness caught her by surprise. Even though she was absolutely stunned and even confused by what she was seeing, she still felt terribly rude.

She covered her mouth with his comment about her bluntness. It wasn't normally like her to blurt out something like that. Her mind simply could not wrap around the sight she had before her. Here she was, walking through a park when she came across a blue police box from the 1960′s in the middle of the path. Why wouldn’t someone investigate?

“I’m so sorry. I did not mean to be so rude...”

Her face made it apparent that she was being honest. Her eyes wandered around the room for a second. How in the world was this possible? She swore the police box was much smaller than this room was. And then the technology... it was as if she was in a sci-fi movie. She looked back to him with his question. What was she doing there? That was a good question, wasn’t it?
