angelica :   where does your muse draw inspiration in life ? what motivates them ?

max takes inspiration from the day to day life. luckily being a freelance police officer, nearly everything that happens is more fantastic and off the wall than anything, though he tends to draw objects and monuments - oh, and a lot of sam, of course. he's purely motivated to have a good time baybee!! god knows the hell he's wrought just to enjoy himself a little more.

bluebell :   does your muse learn from their past ,   or are they prone to repeating the same mistakes ?

dude he's got the selective memory of a goldfish, he makes it a point not to learn anything if he can help it. if you knew him as a child you could say that he's actually gotten WORSE somehow. he at least tries not to make a mistake if he immediately sees someone else doing it and eating shit beforehand. (unless that someone else is sam. in which case he may have to follow him into the trouble they've caused.)

The conversation had reached a temporary lull when his host’s hand clenched at his mandible---with considerably more force than Xigbar would have reckoned he was capable. Or, at least, that he would willingly exert. Was it something he had said, perhaps? Some sort of faux pas that had passed through his lips? The two of them had been digging far deeper into their philosophical discussions as of late, and his gaze certainly couldn’t be averted, even though he most definitely was strong enough to release himself, if he so chose.

But he did not drag away his eye---instead, returning the intensity of such a stare, brow over his visible eye quirking at this shift in mood.
