Important Discovery: Mute Tabs on Chrome
I never new this existed, but it’s so goddamn useful I could cry. If you right-click any tab in Google Chrome, you have the option to mute the tab. Perfect when you suddenly realize one of your tabs has somehow opened a gate to hell and contains an autoplaying video or (even worse) someone’s *special music track* for their blog.
Why does no one tell us about these things? Or is this something everyone already knew and I’m just super late to the party? Entirely possible it’s that last one.
