Peeks out from behind massive mound of guilt.

I fell into the FFXV fandom last year and every time I try to claw my way out, they release a DLC or new expansion.

And then I fell into the Assassin’s Creed Fandom. And there’s DLCs dropping this month ...

I never intended to leave this much time pass between updates because I swear I am still committed to Paper Roses; it’s been with me since I was eighteen and I’m twenty-six now. I feel like I’ve grown up with it and I’m still rewriting the earlier chapters to give the story a better cohesive flow.

Here’s how yesterday pretty much played out:

7am - I arrive at Kaiba Corp and begin preparations for the day.

7:20am - Mr. Kaiba arrives at Kaiba Corp.

7:30 till 8:55 am - We both work together checking headlines, stock reports and social media in order to stay up to date on current news and affairs. A LOT of coffee is consumed.

9am - The majority of Kaiba Corp employees start their shifts and Mr. Kaiba checks emails before his first meeting of the day scheduled for 9:25am.

10:07am - First meeting starts late due to client having been held up in traffic. Mr Kaiba already in a bad mood as he knows it will have a knock-on effect for the rest of his day. On a plus side his inbox is empty.

11:42am - I’m called down to a disturbance in reception and end up escorting a bunch of protesters offsite. Mr. Kaiba is now in his fourth meeting and slowly making up his lost time.

12:28pm - Potential client cancels meeting at the very last minute. No excuse given. It’s down to me to break the news to Mr. Kaiba. I’m going to need more coffee.

12:45pm - Potential client mentioned above is now blacklisted from all further dealings with Kaiba Corporation. The canceled meeting also means that Mr. Kaiba’s schedule is now back on track with time to spare

12:50pm - Lunch. Quick bite to eat before joining Mr. Kaiba on the treadmill for our bi-daily 8k run.

2:10pm -  Conference call with Industrial Illusions. (possibility of a new Duel Monsters tournament is on the cards; no pun intended)

3:30pm - Collect Mokuba from school and swing by coffee house drive-through. Note to self; do not let Mokuba have hot chocolate in the back of the limo without a lid on his cup.

5pm - End of the working day for the majority of Kaiba Corp employees

5:06pm - Two very bored Kaiba brothers. One of them is busy doing homework, the other is stuck in a prolonged status meeting with his executives.

6pm - The would-be end of both mine and Mr. Kaiba’s working day.

6:30pm - Still at Kaiba Corp aiding Mokuba in trying to convince his brother to go home instead of doing banal administrative stuff that can just as easily wait until tomorrow.

6:48pm - Success! Both Kaiba brothers and myself are on our way home.
