Hey! I have a question and I don't know who else to turn to for help. I'll have anti-aliasing deselected so that I very hard edges with only one color but if I use the transform tool on what I drew it'll look like I drew it with anti-aliasing on, is there a way to change that in settings or something? It's annoying having to draw over things because the transform tool changed it.
You just have to set the transform mode into âNearest Neighbor (Jaggies)â. This is an easy fix and should be same regardless of program. Basically, what this means is that it will only transform to the nearest pixels. You seem to have it set to either Bilinear or Bicubic (âsmoothâ or âsharpâ). When you start the transform, at the bottom of your window (where youâll see extra tool options) there should be a drop-down menu that says one of those three. if itâs not the Jaggies option, switch it to that. The only downside with this is that it doesnât actually preserve the âoriginalâ shape of your sharp pixels. But, on the other side, if your lineart is more traditional or thick-looking anyway, itâll look alright when zoomed out or viewed from further away.
Hope this helps!
