Over the past two years, Hotel Garuda has received acclaim from several dance music publications, they have dominated the HypeMachine remix charts and racked up millions of plays on various music platforms. Chris Gavino aka Manila Killa, and Aseem Mangaokar, or Candle Weather, first became friends in middle school in Indonesia. The two went their seperate ways after school but reconnected over their love of music around December 2013.
Now joined by Jake Garcia (guitar, bass, and vocals) and Kyle Hunt (bass, guitar, and keyboards), The Black Angels seem to have acheived their heaviest sound to date.
Hailing from Austin, Texas, neo-psychedelic rockers the Black Angels came together in spring 2004. Originally comprised of Stephanie Bailey (drums), Christian Bland (guitar), Alex Maas (vocals), Jennifer Raines (organ), and Nathan Ryan (bass), the band took their name from a Velvet Underground classic, "The Black Angel's Death Song." Their self-titled debut EP was released in late 2005. 2017 saw the release of Death Song, some of the group's heaviest work.
Awake and Pretty Much Sober is the debut full-length album from producer Jeremy Larson and vocalist Monica Martin (of Phox). This record is beautiful, effervescent, and dreamy.

On each release, Jeremy Larson of Violents composes the music, writes the lyrics, plays every instrument. He then partners with a female vocalist to breathe life into the songs. The tone of each project varies with each collaborator, making for a beautifully diverse body of work.

This Lowell, Massachusetts-based group specializes in dreamy electronica blended with dark, beat-heavy rock. They released their debut album, White Noise, in November 2014. On August 4, 2017, they will release their second album, All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell. PVRIS has upcoming tour dates in Europe, Canada, and the US.
