it’s been 84 years but why not

Pumpkin: Do you carve a pumpkin for Halloween? I never have! The first year I even saw the inside of a pumpkin (instead of canned) was maybe four years ago, I made pumpkin pies from the flesh of an actual pumpkin, but didn’t carve it for decorating.

Rain: How do you spend a rainy day in? If it’s cold, there are blankets, hot chai, and movies. If it’s not cold, I like to walk in it! I love the rain.

Sweaters: What’s your favorite sweater? My favorite ‘sweater’ is either my Marvel sweatshirt (which I’m wearing right now, with my hot chai, under a blanket, while watching Thor because there’s a cold rainy day outside), or my mustard colored cardigan (for when I have to be a little dressier - like working in the office).

Hello !! For starters, thank you for your message and your continued support ! In regards to coloring that’s a bit of a hard one to explain but I’ll break it down as best as I can!

There’s two ways that I basically do it! 

Would be whatever color I feel like I’m leaning towards most I’ll just choose something on the lighter scale spectrum of that particular color and go from there trying to match something just as equally visually appealing to that color.

The other way I make color matches is by using the Adobe KULER wheel plug-in that’s free for CC! Which has proven time and time again to produce gorgeous colors that I use in more complicated color matching graphics ! It simultaneously picks colors that match up to the one you’ve personally chosen to start with. You also have multiple options as to how you want ‘like’ colors to blend!

Either way, I feel like it’s relatively easy to get a grasp on things as long as you have a good sense for color theory ! So whatever you feel is the best color to work with, try to make it up with 2/3 other colors and see what color your base color looks best with. I sometimes have to start over just because I feel as if the colors aren’t sitting well with me !
