Henry wasn’t unfamiliar with ghosts. He had encountered some here and there. Poltergeists however not as often and he found them to be the most troublesome. “Could you please refrain from toying with the light switch? Electricity is quite expensive, you know.” 

“Oh, Stefan. You should of fed when you had the chance.” Here he was a brooding spirit from beyond the grave. “People have to lookout for themselves. You need to move on. Vampires become predators, but spirits go insane.”

Her eyes blinked as he tapped her nose, covering the tip of it in whipped cream. “H-hey!” Despite her apparent irritation, there was an underlying current of amusement in her eyes and a smile that tugged at the corners of her lips. Taking a small dollop of cream, she smeared it on his chest before smilingly smugly, quite proud of her work. “There, now you do too.”

“Why do platypus’s have pouches? I mean, I know they’re marsupials, but aren’t they weird looking enough?” 

“Aw, come on!” Giggles brightened her features as she gently pushed him. “It’ll be fuun! You’ll get feel all the blood rushing to your head.” It mostly because she wanted to see how dorky he’d look upside down and because Elena was just a child in a teenager’s body. 

“Says the brooding idiot.”
