The challenge of accurately measuring out the amount needed when you’re using Knitting Yarn instead of Rug Yarn, is a Big One. Knitting yarn stretches, due to its composition; mete out too much, you lose money, too little you lose credibility. Lawd! Yarn support—who has indie rug yarn? Development is WORK and it takes TIME. This is why I get upset with the whole “Just Do It!” call-to-action mantra. I cannot Afford to “fail fast and fail often”. The Material World doesn’t allow for such foolishness. This began a mutual admiration and friendship to this day! Wendell hand sews ALL of his clothing from gifted and found fabric; outrageously energetic looks, in deep contrast to his pastel soul. 2 & 3 - We always share looks, making folks in the streets gasp!
